When Christianity was just starting out as a new religion, the “prophets” started making up all sorts of lies to try to rid the world of other religions. They said that black cats are the spirits of demons to try to rid the egyptian belief, as bast (goddess of cats) is represented as a woman with the head of a black cat. So many people also think that the witchcraft religions are evil because the prophets started telling false stories in which the wiccan deities were demons and evil spirits working for the devil. There isn’t even a devil in the wiccan religion! How low can you sink?
